On the ensuing drive, the Rams took advantage of on prime field position on a 47-yard punt return and Case Keenum connected with Brian Quick for a 4-yard touchdown pass to give Los Angeles a 17-13 lead and the eventual win.
Drew Stanton stepped in for Palmer, who did not return to the game, and proceeded to throw a pair of interceptions on the Cardinals final two drives to seal the loss.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said after the game that Palmer is in concussion protocol. Cardinals running back Chris Johnson also left the game in the fourth quarter with a groin injury as the defending NFC West champions fell to 1-3 on the season.
As the Cards sit at the bottom of the division, the Rams are 3-1 and tied for first place with the Seahawks.
