Earlier this year, Capybara Games announced that the hit Apple Arcade title Grindstone was headed to the Nintendo Switch. Just like the developer’s other games (Below, Super Time Force) Grindstone is a polished title with stylistic art and a great soundtrack. Capybara describes the game as a “puzzle-battle splatter-fest,” and the cartoony enemies and visuals are charming, to say the least.

Grindstone seems to be a perfect fit for Nintendo’s hybrid console. In fact, with the release on the Switch, Grindstone is now a console-exclusive as it has not yet been released on any Xbox or PlayStation system. It could eventually hit other consoles, but the on-the-go nature of the Switch makes an easy transition for the mobile game.

Capybara’s puzzler has also continued to be supported as well, as just a few months ago Grindstone received a massive update. For those who haven’t had the chance to play the game on Apple Arcade, or perhaps find consoles to be their go-to place for gaming more than anywhere else, following the adventures of Jorj as he battles bosses through Grindstone Mountain could be a fun adventure to get into over the holidays.

Grindstone is available now on Apple Arcade and Switch.
